CPO takes notice of double murder in Chaklala, orders immediate arrest of alleged killers

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Jun, 2026) City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Mehmood Hamdani has taken notice of the killing of two persons in a firing incident within the jurisdiction of Chaklala Police Station, Police said on Monday.

The CPO has sought a report from the SP Potohar division and directed police to ensure the immediate arrest of the suspects involved in the incident.

According to initial reports, two individuals were shot dead inside a house.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the incident may be the outcome of an old enmity or a dispute, however, police said the case is being examined from all possible angles.

Police from Chaklala Station reached the scene immediately after the incident and collected evidence.

The bodies were shifted to hospital for post-mortem examination.

Authorities stated that all involved suspects will be arrested and brought to justice.
