Crackdown continues against illegal weapon holders in Sargodha

Sargodha Police have intensified their crackdown against individuals possessing illegal weapons across the district

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th May, 2026) Sargodha Police have intensified their crackdown against individuals possessing illegal weapons across the district.

According to police spokesperson here, the Silanwali Police conducted a successful operation and arrested two suspects involved in illegal arms possession on Tuesday.

The arrested suspects were identified as Danish Anwar and Irfan. Police recovered a 30-bore pistol from each accused during the operation.

Cases have been registered against the suspects, while further legal proceedings are underway.

The police spokesperson reiterated that strict action is being taken against those involved in keeping, displaying, or carrying illegal weapons. Authorities warned that violators of the law would be dealt with firmly without discrimination.
