Crackdown launched against kite flying, related activities

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Apr, 2026) On the directions of Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sohail Akhtar Sukhera, a large-scale crackdown against kite flying and its related activities underway in the district.

In this connection, Sub-Inspector, Mudathir Shahbaz , City KSH Police Station, along with his team, carried out strict operations against kite sellers in different areas.

According to the police sources, the police were utilizing modern technology, including drone cameras, along with human intelligence to closely monitor the activities of kite flyers and vendors.

During the crackdown, three kite sellers were arrested while allegedly smuggling a large quantity of kites and hazardous metallic strings. .

Cases have been registered against the arrested accused and further investigation was underway, they added.
