As part of Assistant Commissioner Paharpur Dr Hamid has paid a surprise visit to the markets of Paharpur and Rangpur and reviewed the prices of essential food items.

According to the administration, during the inspection, official price lists were checked at various shops, and shopkeepers were strictly instructed to ensure compliance with government-notified rates and to prominently display price lists so that customers can be properly informed.
