Crackdown on tinted windows, unregistered vehicles intensifies in DI Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Apr, 2026) A district-wide crackdown has been launched against vehicles with tinted windows and those operating without registration numbers, resulting in multiple challans and legal actions across Dera Ismail Khan.

The operation was carried out under the directives of Regional Police Officer Ghulam Mubashir Mekan and the special instructions of District Police Officer Ziauddin Ahmed.

The police teams across City, Saddar, and Paharpur divisions conducted strict checking at various points through snap-checking and pickets.

During the campaign, dozens of motorcycles and vehicles were inspected.

Legal action was taken against violators of traffic laws, while the illegal tinted windows were removed from on the spot. Numerous challans were also issued.

DPO Ziauddin Ahmed emphasized that violations of traffic laws will not be tolerated under any circumstances. He stated that such steps would be continued in order to ensure the safety of citizens and protection of their lives and property.

He also urged the public to comply with the law, ensure proper registration of their vehicles and motorcycles, and avoid the use of tinted windows to prevent legal consequences.
