Crackdown started against criminal elements within limits of Sariab area

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Jul, 2026) On special directive of higher authorities, a full-scale crackdown has been launched against criminal elements, drug dealers, snatchers, proclaimed offenders and absconding accused within the limits of Sariab police station:

While police patrolling and intelligence-based operations have also been increased to ensure the safety of the lives and property of the citizens at all costs.

After taking charge of Sariab police station, SHO Fazlur Rehman Khilji while talking to the officers and officials of the police station said that indiscriminate operations against criminal elements would continue and no concession could be made to law-breaking elements.

He said that absconding and habitual criminals could not escape the clutches of the law, all available resources are being utilized to bring them to justice.

SHO Fazlur Rehman Khilji directed the police officers to make the operations against motorcycle snatching gangs, drug peddlers, thieves, dacoits and elements involved in illegal display of weapons more effective and expedited so that the law and order situation in the area could be improved.

He said that to prevent crimes, police patrolling has also been increased during the night hours and suspicious persons are being closely monitored.

He said that providing a safe environment to the citizens is the Primary responsibility of the police and all resources are being utilized to achieve this goal. He appealed to the public to fully cooperate with the police to prevent crimes and immediately inform the concerned police about any suspicious activity, criminal person or drug peddler.

He said that without public cooperation, complete eradication of crime is not possible, however, the police are performing their duties with full dedication, honesty and professionalism. Meanwhile, the public and social circles of the area have welcomed the appointment of SHO Fazlur Rehman and expressed hope that under his leadership, the crime rate in the area would significantly decrease.

The citizens said that Fazlur Rehman is a fearless, dutiful and dynamic police officer who has started effective operations against criminal elements, absconding accused, motorcycle snatching gangs and other lawless elements as soon as he took charge.

The public also appreciated the initiative to increase police patrolling during the night hours and expressed hope that these measures would further strengthen law and order in the area.
