Criminal, drug paddlers arrested

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Mar, 2026) New Town police on Monday apprehended a criminal wanted in a check dishonour case using human intelligence and other investigative methods.

Superintendent of Police (SP), Rawal Saad Arshad said operations against criminals and their facilitators would continue to ensure law and order.

Aids conducted by various Rawalpindi police stations resulted in seven arrests and recovery of narcotics, alcohol, and weapons.

Mandrah police recovered 1.4 kilograms of hashish, Nasirabad police seized 30 litres of alcohol with weapons. Saddar Wah police recovered 20 litres of alcohol, and Kallar Syedan police seized 10 litres of alcohol. Chaklala and Rawat police recovered firearms with ammunition.

Divisional SPs emphasized that possession of narcotics and illegal arms will not be tolerated.
