CTD DSP Islamuddin Khan passes away, funeral prayers offered in Hangu

KOHAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Feb, 2026) Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) officer DSP Islamuddin Khan passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest on Saturday. He was serving the department with dedication and professionalism.

Accordign to APP correspondent, the funeral prayers of the late officer were offered at Police Lines Hangu, where a large number of police officials, district administration officers, and local elders participated.

DPO Hangu Khan Zeb Mohmand, SP CTD Saadat Khan, and Additional Deputy Commissioner Abdul Naseer attended

the funeral and expressed condolences to the bereaved family.

A smartly turned-out contingent of police presented a salute to the martyred officer, while DPO Khan Zeb Mohmand and SP Saadat Khan laid floral wreaths on the coffin.

The participants paid tribute to DSP Islamuddin Khan for his services to the CTD and his commitment to maintaining peace in the region.

They prayed that Allah Almighty grant the departed soul a high place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and give patience to the bereaved family.
