As per details, the CTD conducted the operation on a tip-off and set up an ambush point in the area. During the operation, an exchange of fire took place between the law enforcers and the militants.

As a result, two terrorists, identified as Abbas and Usman, were killed.

Officials said the dead militants were involved in the martyrdom of CTD Constable Sanaullah.

Terrorist Abbas, in particular, was wanted in 11 terrorism cases, including incidents that resulted in the deaths of five police personnel and injuries to more than a dozen others.

The CTD also recovered the mobile phone of Constable Sanaullah from his possession.
