CTO Kainat reviews traffic arrangements for 11th Muharram processions

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Jun, 2026) Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Kainat Azhar Khan visited the Shah Allah Ditta and Bari Imam procession routes to review traffic and security arrangements for the observance of 11th Muharram-ul-Haram.

An ITP official told APP on Saturday that the CTO inspected traffic management measures, reviewed deployment at key points and issued necessary directions to officers and personnel to remain vigilant until the conclusion of the processions.

Kainat directed field officers to ensure smooth traffic flow, facilitate mourners and strictly implement the approved traffic management plan.

The CTO, Kainat, emphasized that officers should remain alert throughout their deployment and respond promptly to any traffic-related situation.

Kainat said Islamabad Traffic Police had ensured effective traffic management for Muharram processions and Majalis across the Federal capital from the 1st of Muharram through Youm-e-Ashur.
