CTO review traffic enforcement in field, orders action against violations

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Apr, 2026) Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Lahore,Syed Abdul Raheem Shirazi, on Tuesday remained active in the field to monitor the ongoing traffic enforcement campaign and directed officers to ensure strict action against serious violations.

During his visit,the CTO inspected various city roads, visited the Khidmat Markaz Liberty and reviewed the performance of the Traffic Police Driving school.

He also checked the deployment of the Rehbar Squad in the field and issued necessary directions to improve enforcement.

The CTO directed officials to take immediate action against major traffic violations, emphasizing that no leniency would be shown in lane line violations.

He instructed circle officers to ensure traffic discipline and public safety,adding that zero tolerance should be adopted against wrong parking, encroachments and zigzag driving.

Abdul Raheem also interacted with citizens at Khidmat Markaz Liberty and inquired about the facilities being provided.

He also visited Main Boulevard Gulberg,Liberty,Kalma Chowk,Mall Road,Jail Road and Davis Road to review traffic flow and enforcement measures.
