LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Jun, 2026) Lahore Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Syed Abdul Raheem Shirazi visited Gaddafi Stadium on Tuesday to review traffic arrangements for the second ODI match between Pakistan and Australia.
During the visit, DSP Gulberg and the security in-charge briefed the CTO on team movement routes, parking arrangements and overall traffic management plans.
The CTO personally inspected all designated parking stands and diversion points and also briefed traffic wardens deployed at various duty points. He directed the wardens to deal with citizens and cricket fans in a courteous and professional way.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>The CTO said that spectators could park their vehicles at Government College for Boys as well as at the designated parking areas near Sunfort Hotel and Liberty Market.
He said that no road would be permanently closed for traffic and all major roads, including Mall Road, Jail Road and Canal Road, would remain open. He added that traffic on Ferozepur Road and Main Boulevard Gulberg would also continue to flow normally.
He expressed confidence that both citizens and cricket enthusiasts would not face any traffic-related difficulties during the event.
