LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th May, 2026) Lahore Chief Traffic Officer (CTO),Syed Abdul Rahim Shirazi on Wednesday visited various roads and intersections of the city on Eid-ul-Azha to review traffic management arrangements and monitor the performance of traffic wardens.
During the visit,he distributed Eid gifts and sweets among traffic wardens performing duty in the field.
Speaking on the occasion,CTO Abdul Rahim Shirazi said strict action and challans would continue against serious traffic violations during Eid holidays, while citizens committing minor violations would be educated and guided.
He also appealed to parents not to allow underage children to drive motorcycles or cars during Eid holidays.

He appreciated the services of traffic wardens said they were performing their duties with dedication,honesty and commitment.
In view of the intense heat,the CTO directed wardens to adopt precautionary measures while performing duties in the field.
Shirazi said Lahore Traffic Police remained active in serving citizens in all weather conditions and ensuring smooth flow of traffic for public convenience.
He termed the services of traffic wardens commendable and said Lahore Traffic Police remained vigilant on roads across the city during Eid holidays.
