Adviser on Culture and National Integration Chaudhry Muhammad Arshad Ismail, along with provincial coordinator of the “Dukhtaran-e-Pakistan” programme Muneeba Nayyar, reviewed ongoing literary and cultural programmes during the visit.

The adviser said Pakistan’s diverse cultural heritage formed the basis of national identity and needed to be preserved, adding that promoting shared values was essential for stability and a cohesive national narrative.

Officials said cultural initiatives could help foster patriotism and social harmony, particularly among the youth.

The provincial coordinator highlighted efforts under the programme to promote tolerance and cultural awareness, terming them key to countering extremism and building a balanced society.

The delegation also visited different sections of the council and appreciated ongoing efforts to promote arts and culture, with discussions held on expanding such initiatives to other areas.
