DC Abbottabad orders immediate resolution of public issues during open court in Nathiagali

NATHIAGALI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st May, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad, Sarmad Saleem Akram, chaired an open court at Government High school Nathia Gali to directly hear public grievances and ensure prompt action on civic issues.

Director General Galiyat Development Authority Muhammad Fawad also attended the session, while officials from Revenue, Health, Education, Local Government, Agriculture, Forests, Communication & Works, Public Health Engineering and other departments were present.

During the open court, local residents highlighted a range of issues including land mutations, issuance of land records, land disputes, demarcation, road construction and repair, healthcare, education, electricity supply, clean drinking water, drainage and sanitation.

The concerned officers listened to the complaints in detail and issued on-the-spot directives for resolving several matters, while assuring early action on others.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Sarmad Saleem Akram said the district administration was utilizing all available resources to address public problems in a timely manner and providing relief to citizens remained the governments top priority.

He said the purpose of holding open courts was to strengthen coordination between the public and the administration and resolve citizens’ issues at their doorstep.

The deputy commissioner also directed revenue officials and other departments to ensure effective performance of their duties, warning that negligence in resolving public complaints would not be tolerated.
