DC Ayesha Rizwan chairs revenue meeting on “Plus Project” implementation in Chiniot

An important meeting of revenue officers on Tuesday was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan to review progress on the implementation of the “Plus Project,” aimed at improving transparency, digitization, and public service delivery in revenue matters

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th May, 2026) An important meeting of revenue officers on Tuesday was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan to review progress on the implementation of the “Plus Project,” aimed at improving transparency, digitization, and public service delivery in revenue matters.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Muhammad Ahmar Ali, assistant commissioners, tehsildars, naib tehsildars, land record officers and other relevant officials. The deputy commissioner reviewed ongoing measures, departmental targets, and progress on computerization of revenue records in detail.

Ayesha Rizwan directed officers to ensure effective implementation of the project in line with government instructions so that citizens can access faster and more convenient services in land and revenue-related matters.

She stressed the importance of transparency in transfers, record management and public data handling, warning that any negligence would not be tolerated.

She further instructed revenue staff to actively address public grievances on priority and improve overall departmental performance by achieving assigned targets within the stipulated timeframe. The meeting also reviewed challenges in implementation and proposed solutions, while officers briefed participants on progress regarding the ongoing revenue digitization and survey-related work in the district.
