DC Ayesha Rizwan inspects intermediate examination centre, vows zero tolerance for irregularities

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jun, 2026) The district administration has intensified monitoring efforts to ensure the transparent and fair conduct of annual Intermediate examinations across Chiniot, with Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan personally visiting examination centres to review arrangements and compliance with examination regulations.

During a visit to Government Girls Degree College Chiniot on Wednesday, designated as an examination centre, the Deputy Commissioner inspected the overall examination process and confirmed the timely commencement of the paper. Accompanied by the Resident Inspector (RI), superintendent, and other concerned officials, she reviewed facilities including lighting arrangements, availability of drinking water, and security measures to ensure a conducive environment for candidates.

The Deputy Commissioner also issued necessary directions to the examination superintendent and the principal of the institution regarding strict adherence to examination rules and maintenance of discipline. She reviewed police deployment at the centre and inspected the implementation of Section 144 to prevent any unlawful activities that could affect the integrity of the examinations.

Emphasizing transparency and merit, Ayesha Rizwan reiterated that carrying mobile phones by examination staff inside centres was strictly prohibited and warned that violations would invite stern disciplinary action. She stated that officers across the district were conducting regular inspections of examination centres and affirmed that the administration would ensure the transparent conduct of examinations at all costs.
