DC Chairs meeting regarding construction, , full rehabilitation of Trauma Center Daulatpur

NAWABSHAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Apr, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad, Abdul Samad Nizamani, chaired a meeting regarding construction, repair, and full rehabilitation of Trauma Center Daulatpur.

The meeting was held Tuesday at DC Office. Addressing the meeting, Deputy Commissioner said that the Trauma Center Dulatpur is a project of great importance for local population, as its restoration would ensure timely medical assistance to injured persons and patients in emergency situations. DC directed Executive Engineer Provincial Buildings to accelerate the pace of construction and repair work and ensure that all tasks are completed within the stipulated timeframe.

Deputy Commissioner emphasized that improving healthcare facilities is among the government’s top priorities. He instructed that the provision of essential medical equipment, beds, and staff at Trauma Center must be ensured so that the facility becomes fully operational after its rehabilitation.

During meeting, officials from Buildings Department gave a detailed briefing on the ongoing construction and repair work, while Health Department informed participants about the provision of staff and medical facilities. Deputy Commissioner stressed the need for effective coordination and communication among all relevant departments and directed that the rehabilitation work of Trauma Center Daulatpur be completed at the earliest, in accordance with high standards, so that better healthcare facilities can be provided to public.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Saddam Hussain Memon, District Health Officer Dr. Mudassar Hussain, Executive Engineer Irfan Ali, Assistant Executive Engineer Asghar Ali, and other officials.
