DC Chiniot monitors Eid sanitation operation, appreciates workers’ dedication

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th May, 2026) Following the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan remained actively engaged throughout the three days of Eid-ul-Azha, visiting various urban areas to review the ongoing sanitation operation and ensure effective waste management across the district.

During her visits, the Deputy Commissioner carried out detailed inspections of disposal points, waste transfer arrangements, and cleanliness conditions in different localities. She directed officers concerned to further accelerate and improve the sanitation campaign, emphasizing that providing a clean and hygienic environment to citizens remained the district administration’s foremost priority during Eid days.

The Deputy Commissioner also visited the district control room along with Managing Director Suthra Punjab Wasiq Abbas Haral, where she reviewed staff attendance, monitoring through CCTV cameras, and the progress on complaints received from citizens during Eid-ul-Azha.

Officials informed her that complaints were resolved promptly and feedback was also provided to complainants. She appreciated the alertness and dedication of the staff who remained on duty throughout the festive period.

In recognition of their services, Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan distributed sweets among Suthra Punjab workers during all three days of Eid and praised their tireless efforts in maintaining cleanliness. Along with MD Suthra Punjab Wasiq Abbas Haral, she also visited Mandir Road, Kachhari Road, Jhang Road, Sargodha Road, Maidan Tarkhana, and other areas to inspect road cleaning and washing operations after animal sacrifices. Citizens expressed satisfaction over the cleanliness arrangements, while the Deputy Commissioner reaffirmed that all available staff and machinery had remained fully active to make the Eid sanitation operation successful.
