DC Chiniot pays surprise visit to DHQ hospital, stresses quality healthcare

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jul, 2026) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ayesha Rizwan paid a surprise visit to District Headquarters Hospital and reviewed the medical facilities, administrative matters, patient services, cleanliness, and overall situation at the hospital.

The DC inspected various wards, the emergency department, OPD, medicine stock, cleanliness arrangements, and other areas. She met with patients under treatment and their relatives to inquire about treatment, availability of medicines, and facilities provided in the hospital.

Ayesha issued necessary instructions on the spot to Medical Superintendent Dr. Muhammad Shaukat regarding further improving cleanliness standards, ensuring timely and quality medical facilities for patients, attendance of doctors and paramedical staff, and uninterrupted availability of medicines.

She said that providing the best medical facilities to the public in government hospitals is the top priority of the district administration, in line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

"Any negligence, carelessness, or difficulties faced by patients in treatment will not be tolerated," she added. The DC directed hospital administration to pay special attention to cleanliness, discipline, and patient comfort so that better and dignified medical services can be provided to the public.
