DC directs to improved patient care during visit to DHQ

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jun, 2026) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Aisha Rizwan on Wednesday visited the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital and reviewed medical services, administrative affairs and facilities available to patients.

During the visit, the DC inspected various wards, including the emergency department, and met patients undergoing treatment.

She inquired about the quality of medical care, availability of medicines, nursing services and other facilities being provided at the hospital.

The deputy commissioner directed hospital management to ensure the provision of the best possible healthcare services and instructed officials to keep air conditioners operational in all wards amid intense heat to minimize discomfort for patients and their attendants.

She also directed that all medical equipment remain fully functional and ensure timely repair and maintenance of machinery used in patient treatment to facilitate efficient healthcare delivery.

Chief Executive Officer (Health) Dr Saqib Munir, Medical Superintendent Dr Shaukat and other relevant officials accompanied the deputy commissioner during the inspection.

Rizwan stressed that patient welfare should remain the hospital's top priority and urged the administration to leave no stone unturned in providing quality healthcare services to the public.
