DC, DPO celebrate Eid with orphans, prisoners

SIALKOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th May, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Saba Asghar Ali and District Police Officer Capt (retd) Dost Muhammad distributed sweets during their visit to welfare organisations, shelter homes, the Child Protection Bureau, SOS Children's Villages, prisons, and patients on the Eid days.

As per a release, a special ceremony was arranged with children at the Child Protection Bureau, where time was spent with them. Special prayers were also offered for the country’s security, progress, stability, and prosperity.

DC Saba Asghar Ali said, “Eid-ul-Azha teaches us the values of sacrifice, love, devotion, and brotherhood. We should always include the weaker and deserving members of society in our celebrations.”
