DC expresses anger over slow pace of beautification work in furniture market

CHINIOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Mar, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan, along with Administrator Wasiq Abbas Haral and other officers, on Wednesday visited the Furniture Market on Shahrah-e-Quaid to review the ongoing beautification work. During the visit, she personally inspected the progress and closely inquired about the pace and quality of development activities.

The deputy commissioner expressed strong displeasure over the slow progress, therefore directing the concerned officials to accelerate the work without further delay. She firmly instructed that all efforts be made to ensure timely completion, while maintaining high standards of quality.

Moreover, she ordered the deployment of additional labor to speed up the process, emphasizing that the project must be completed promptly and efficiently. She warned that negligence would not be tolerated and directed officers to remain fully engaged in supervising the work.

Consequently, the deputy commissioner also issued instructions for submitting daily progress reports, ensuring strict monitoring and accountability to achieve the desired results within the stipulated timeframe.
