DC expresses concern over placement of building material on roadside

LARKANA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Mar, 2026) The Deputy Commissioner of Larkana, Tariq Manzoor Chandio, on Wednesday expressed concern over the placement of building materials on roads within Larkana city and has recommended to the Commissioner of Larkana Division that Section 144 be imposed to prohibit this practice.

In this regard, a letter sent to the Commissioner of Larkana Division states that the Assistant Commissioner of Larkana had informed through a letter that construction materials are being illegally placed on various roads in the city, encroaching upon them. This is causing traffic congestion and is also becoming a reason for road accidents.

Therefore, an order has been issued to enforce Section 144 and ban the placing of building materials on roads in Larkana city.
