FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jul, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Capt (R) Nadeem Nasir has directed to complete public welfare projects within the stipulated time by implementing the Punjab Development Program.

Chairing a meeting here Friday, the Deputy Commissioner took a detailed review of the progress on the ongoing development projects in three tehsils - Jaranwala, Tandlianwala and Chak Jhumra.

He said that no compromise would be made on quality, speed and transparency in the projects.

He expressed displeasure over the lack of safety measures at the construction site in Jaranwala and urged all the concerned to immediately complete safety measures and submit a report.

He directed WASA to speed up de-silting in the tehsil and said that the manholes should be completely covered.
