DC Hyderabad Zainul Abedin Memon chairs meeting in connection with blood donation

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Jun, 2026) Under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad Zainul Abedin Memon, an important meeting was held in the committee hall of Deputy Commissioner Office Hyderabad in connection with the blood donation campaign for thalassemia patients.

The meeting was attended by Arbab Shakeel Memon, Superintendent of Central Jail and Nara Jail Hyderabad, officials of various government departments, representatives of educational institutions, health sector, civil society and other related institutions.

Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad said that saving human life is a sacred duty which has great importance not only on religion but also on human grounds.

He said that blood donation became a means to save the life of someone in need and this process promotes the spirit of sympathy, selflessness and human friendship in the society.

DC said that he himself regularly donates blood and the life of a child was lost due to the blood donated by him.

He said that the parents of the child who criticized Sundus on social media before and after the child's recovery will pray with him.

The Deputy Commissioner said that blood donation could bring new hope and happiness to a family.

On this occasion, the representatives of the Regional Blood Center (RBC) gave a briefing and said that during the blood donation campaign, complete screening of blood donors will be done while strict implementation of hygiene principles would be ensured.
