DC inspects Eid cleanliness operation in Chak Jhumra

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th May, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Capt (Retd) Nadeem Nasir on Thursday visited Chak Jhumra

and inspected the ongoing Eidul Azha cleanliness operation as well as arrangements

for disposal of sacrificial waste in different areas.

During his visit, he carried out a detailed inspection of disposal points set up in Chak

Jhumra and reviewed arrangements for timely collection and transportation of animal offal.

He also checked cleanliness conditions, waste collection process and overall sanitary

situation in various localities and directed the officers of Suthra Punjab to further accelerate

and improve the effectiveness of the cleanliness operation.

Speaking on the occasion, the deputy commissioner said that providing a clean and

hygienic environment to citizens during Eid days was top priority of the district administration.

He distributed food and sweets among workers of Faisalabad Waste Management Company

(FWMC) and appreciated their dedicated services during Eidul Azha.

He said that sanitation workers were rendering valuable services to ensure a better environment

for citizens during Eid holidays and deserved encouragement for their hard work and commitment.

He also met field staff and instructed them to complete the operation within stipulated time while

maintaining high standards of cleanliness across all areas.
