DC inspects facilities at Kohat Bus Terminal

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st May, 2026) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kohat, Muhammad Nawaz here on Thursday conducted a detailed inspection of the Kohat Bus Terminal to review facilities available for passengers.

During the visit, he inspected overall cleanliness, seating arrangements, drinking water supply, ticketing system and other amenities. He directed the staff to ensure maximum convenience for travellers, improve sanitation standards and establish an effective mechanism for addressing public complaints.

Later, the Deputy Commissioner visited the Kohat Fruit and Vegetable Market to assess overall arrangements and hygiene conditions. He directed officials of the concerned departments to ensure strict monitoring of prices to provide relief to the public.

He reiterated that the district administration is committed to taking all necessary measures in the public interest and warned that negligence in this regard would not be tolerated.
