DC inspects Farid Park, orders beautification measures

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Mar, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Syed Hassan Raza visited the Farid Park Commercial Area to review ongoing and proposed measures aimed at improving public spaces and urban aesthetics.

During the visit, he directed that the park’s entrance should be further beautified and emphasized the need for proper pruning and maintenance of trees. He stated that maintaining high standards of cleanliness in urban areas and enhancing the beauty of public places remain top priorities of the district administration. The Deputy Commissioner added that initiatives for urban beautification, cleanliness, and environmental improvement will continue on a sustained basis to provide citizens with a pleasant and safe environment.

Assistant Director of the Parks and Horticulture Authority Rana Muhammad Masroor accompanied him during the visit.

Later, the deputy commissioner also inspected the nursery of the Parks and Horticulture Authority located near the airport. He reviewed plant availability and maintenance practices and issued necessary instructions to further improve the quality of horticultural operations and support ongoing beautification projects across the city.

Speaking on the occasion, Syed Hassan Raza reiterated that the district administration is committed to creating greener, cleaner, and more attractive urban spaces for the public, ensuring long-term environmental sustainability and improved quality of life for citizens.
