DC Jamshoro holds khuli kachehri to address public issues in Manjhand

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Mar, 2026) On the directives of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, a Khuli Kachehri was held at Sann rest house in taluka Manjhand under the chair of deputy commissioner Jamshoro Ghazanfar Ali Qadri to address basic issues faced by the public.

The event was attended by district and taluka officers, social activists and a large number of local residents.

According to a handout issued on Wednesday, during the session, citizens highlighted key issues including poor condition of roads, lack of doctors at the rural health centre, shortage of clean drinking water, irrigation water scarcity,

non-functional water supply schemes and law and order concerns. Complaints were also raised regarding inactive RO plants and deteriorating infrastructure in Union Council Shalmani.

The deputy commissioner directed the concerned officers to ensure prompt resolution of public issues, and wanted that negligence or delays would not be tolerated. He ordered completion of ongoing development schemes within the stipulated time and instructed officials to submit implementation reports within three days.

Expressing displeasure over the substandard construction of RO plants, he sought an immediate report from relevant authorities and directed early completion of road projects. He also announced the establishment of a dispensary in Sann, providing round the clock medical facilities and ultrasound services.

He also directed the national highway authority to expedite work on the doubling of the Sann road, ordered action against illegal electricity connections and directed activation of Shah Owais and Chhachhar pumping schemes.

Police were also directed to enhance snap checking to maintain law and order. The deputy commissioner assured that he would soon visit the area to personally monitor ongoing development projects to ensure maximum relief for the public.

The event was attended by DHO Dr Pir Manzoor Ahmed, assistant commissioner Manjhand Asad Karim Soomro, social activist Syed Ali Raza Shah, MS Manjhand hospital Abdul Hameed Kehar, SDO irrigation Hussain Panhwar, member of the district council Kamal Khan Chhachhar and other officials and a large number of citizens.
