FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th May, 2026) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Captain (retd) Nadeem Nasir remained actively engaged in field monitoring till the last day of Eid-ul-Azha and supervised the ongoing washing and cleanliness operation in different parts of the city to ensure a neat and hygienic environment for citizens.
During a detailed visit to Ghulam Muhammad Abad on Friday, the deputy commissioner reviewed the road cleaning and washing process and inspected arrangements being carried out under the district administration’s Eid cleanliness plan.
On the instructions of the deputy commissioner, roads and streets in Ghulam Muhammad Abad were washed with surf and rose water to maintain cleanliness and eliminate unpleasant odors after Eid sacrificial activities.
Speaking on the occasion, DC Nadeem Nasir said that the post-Eid cleanliness and washing operation was being completed in an effective and organized manner through continuous monitoring and coordinated teamwork.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>He said that the district administration was ensuring strict implementation of the Eid cleanliness plan in line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz to provide a clean and healthy environment to the public.
The deputy commissioner appreciated the performance and dedication of sanitation staff working in the field and directed waste workers to continue performing their duties responsibly until the completion of the operation.
Managing Director (CM) Suthra Punjab Agency (SPA) Abid Hussain Bhatti, Assistant Commissioner (AC) City Adil Umar and other officers were also present during the inspection visit.
The administration continued washing operations in various city areas to ensure proper disposal of sacrificial waste and maintain improved sanitary conditions after Eid-ul-Azha.
