DC Kohat supervises Eid cleanliness drive, ensures swift waste disposal across District

KOHAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th May, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Kohat Muhammad Nawaz Wazir personally supervised the Eid-ul-Azha sanitation operation, ensuring timely disposal of animal waste and maintaining cleanliness across the district.

According to district administration sources, the deputy commissioner closely monitored the performance of the District Waste Management System (DWMS) and Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) during the Eid cleanliness drive. His active oversight helped improve coordination between field teams and ensured smooth execution of sanitation arrangements.

Officials said the operation focused on the rapid collection and disposal of sacrificial animal offal from residential areas, streets and designated dumping points. Special attention was given to maintaining hygiene in densely populated localities and markets.

Citizens appreciated the efforts of the district administration, expressing satisfaction over the prompt removal of waste and improved cleanliness conditions during the Eid period. They lauded the leadership of the deputy commissioner for ensuring an efficient and well-managed sanitation operation across Kohat.
