DC Larkana orders strict compliance with fuel conservation directives and market closures

LARKANA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Apr, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Larkana, Tariq Manzoor Chandio chaired a meeting with ADC-1, all Assistant Commissioners and Mukhtiarkars of District Larkana here Saturday to discuss the implementation of the government’s austerity policy regarding fuel conservation, while ensuring compliance with market closure orders.

It was decided that all shops, markets and shopping malls will be closed by 9:00 PM, while restaurants, hotels and food outlets will remain closed from 7:00 PM to 11:30 PM, seven days a week.

Wedding halls and banquet services will operate only from 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Assistant Commissioners have been directed to submit daily compliance reports to the Deputy Commissioner’s office to ensure effective implementation of energy-saving measures in Larkana. He also instructed them to engage the business community regarding the monitoring of market closure timings. In case of violations, police cooperation has been requested.
