DC Mansehra chairs district steering committee meeting, orders improvement in health facilities

ABBOTTABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Mar, 2026) A meeting of the District Steering Committee (IMU Health) was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Mansehra, Mian Bahzad Adil, in line with the directives of the provincial government.

The meeting was attended by DHO Mansehra, Medical Superintendent of King Abdullah Teaching Hospital Mansehra, District Monitoring Officer IMU Health, and other relevant stakeholders.

During the proceedings, a detailed review was conducted regarding staff attendance in health centers, overall cleanliness, availability of technical staff, and the functionality of IT equipment.

Addressing the participants, Deputy Commissioner Mian Bahzad Adil issued strict directives that staff attendance in all health centers must be ensured under all circumstances. He ordered improvements to cleanliness systems and emphasized making the monitoring process effective by keeping IT equipment fully functional.

The Deputy Commissioner further stressed that providing quality medical facilities to the public remains the top priority, warning that any negligence or carelessness in this regard would not be tolerated.
