DC monitors Eid cleanliness operation from control room

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th May, 2026) Deputy Commissioner(DC),Captain (Retired) Nadeem Nasir on Wednesday visited the central control room established for Eidul Azha cleanliness arrangements and reviewed the ongoing sanitation operations across Faisalabad on the first day of Eid.

During the visit,he monitored field operations, complaint redressal mechanisms and overall implementation of the Eid cleanliness plan being carried out across the city.

The DC checked the real-time movement of sanitation vehicles through the GPS tracking system and reviewed attendance records of staff deployed in various zones and union councils.

Officials at the control room briefed him on vehicle deployment,lifting of sacrificial animal waste,response time to public complaints and disposal arrangements under the Eid-ul-Azha sanitation plan.

Captain (Retired) Nadeem Nasir directed the concerned departments to ensure provision of the best possible cleanliness services to citizens during Eid days,stressing uninterrupted monitoring of field operations.

He said maintaining cleanliness and a healthy environment during Eid-ul-Azha remained the top priority of the district administration.

He instructed control room officials to remain fully alert and ensure swift response to complaints regarding the removal of animal waste from streets, markets and residential areas.

He further directed that all available resources be effectively utilized to keep the city clean throughout the Eid holidays.

A spokesperson for the local administration said the control room remained operational round the clock to monitor sanitation activities, vehicle movement and field performance, while citizens were also facilitated through complaint registration and rapid response mechanisms.

He added that the administration expressed satisfaction over the pace of the cleanliness operation and reiterated its commitment to maintaining a clean and hygienic environment during Eid-ul-Azha.
