CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Jun, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan on Tuesday directed officials to accelerate work on ongoing beautification and infrastructure improvement projects across the district, emphasizing timely completion and high-quality execution.

The directives were issued during a review meeting chaired by the deputy commissioner to assess progress on various beautification schemes. The meeting was attended by Administrator Wasiq Abbas Haral, COMC Muhammad Arif, MOI Noman Zahid, XEN Highways Muhammad Ahmed, XEN Buildings Muhammad Adnan and officers from other relevant departments.

Officials briefed the meeting on the status of development work under the Khatm-e-Nabuwwat Chowk–Jhang Road to Bypass Beautification Scheme and the Furniture Market Beautification Scheme. While progress was reported on renovation, cleanliness, landscaping and infrastructure improvement activities at several locations, the deputy commissioner was informed that work at some sites was moving at a slower pace than planned.

Expressing concern over delays, Ayesha Rizwan instructed the Municipal Committee and other executing departments to immediately speed up work and ensure completion of all ongoing schemes within the stipulated timeframe. She stressed that providing a clean, attractive and citizen-friendly environment remained a top priority of the district administration and warned that negligence in project execution would not be tolerated. She further directed officers to complete all beautification projects by the end of the week while maintaining strict quality standards, noting that the initiatives would enhance the city's appearance and improve public facilities for residents.
