DC Quetta urges parents to enroll out-of-school children immediately

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Apr, 2026) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Quetta Mehrullah Badeni on Monday urged to the public, especially parents that they would take steps to immediately enroll their children who are still deprived of education in schools.

He said this while in his message regarding the school admission campaign that the academic year 2026 has officially started in Balochistan, especially in Quetta district, all schools have become functional again after the holidays so this is the best time for children to be adorned with the ornaments of education.

The deputy commissioner said that the district administration has set a target of 34,000 under the admission campaign, for which public cooperation is indispensable.

He said that parents should not only enroll their children in schools but also attract others for this noble cause.

He appealed to different sections of the society, social leaders and citizens to promote this campaign in their respective platforms and circles so that maximum children could be enrolled in schools.

Mehrullah Badini said that education is the guarantee of a bright future for children and it is the common responsibility of all of us to provide every child with basic facilities like education so that they would move towards a better and successful future.
