DC reviews civic facilities, exam arrangements

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Mar, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Saba Asghar Ali visited different areas of the district to review cleanliness, inspect exam centres and monitor development work.

According to a spokesperson for the DC Office, she checked sanitation conditions in union councils and directed officials to improve cleanliness, while asking citizens to support the “Clean Punjab” campaign. She also visited Matric exam centres under the board of Intermediate and Secondary education Gujranwala and stressed ensuring merit, transparency and strict action against cheating.

She later chaired a meeting in Sambrial on road improvement where Assistant Commissioner Adnan Bashir gave a briefing on proposed projects. She also reviewed progress on providing land for the construction of Motra police station.

The deputy commissioner also visited Holy Trinity Church Sialkot to review security arrangements and held an open court to listen to public complaints, issuing immediate orders for their resolution.
