FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Mar, 2026) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Captain (Retired) Nadeem Nasir on Saturday visited the Hilal-e-Ahmar Maternity Hospital and reviewed the ongoing construction work of a new medical complex for enhancing healthcare facilities in the city.
Assistant Commissioner (AC) City Adil Umar, Medical Superintendent Dr Mukhtar Randhawa, Deputy Director Development Naveed and other officials were also present on the occasion.
The medical superintendent briefed the deputy commissioner in detail about the development works and said that the new complex would include a dialysis center, surgical unit, medical wards and state-of-the-art operation theatres.
The deputy commissioner inspected civil work of the building and directed the concerned authorities to ensure high construction standards.
He emphasized that the project should be completed within the stipulated timeline.
He also visited various sections including the RO plant room and said that the dialysis center would be equipped with modern diagnostic facilities such as X-ray, ultrasound, color Doppler, MRI and CT scan.
He informed that with the support of philanthropists, 20 modern machines would be installed at the dialysis center, adding that the civil work of the facility was in its final stages.
The establishment of the dialysis center is expected to provide significant relief to kidney patients by offering quality treatment under one roof, he added.
Reaffirming his commitment, the deputy commissioner said that the provision of modern and quality healthcare services to patients would be ensured at the facility.
