DC reviews dengue control measures in Gujrat

GUJRAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Apr, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Gujrat chaired a meeting of the District Emergency Response Committee (DERC) to review arrangements for dengue prevention, DVR-related matters and other administrative issues.

According to official sources, Chief Executive Officer Health Dr Syed Ata-ul-Munim briefed the participants on the current dengue situation and ongoing preventive measures. District Health Officer Dr Syed itizaz and Deputy District Health Officer Dr Usman informed the meeting about field activities and surveillance efforts.

Secretary RTA Saddam Hussain, Director ARAR and officers of other relevant departments were also present in the meeting.

The Deputy Commissioner directed all departments to further strengthen field operations for effective dengue control and ensure strict implementation of government policies through close coordination.

He also instructed WASA and ARAR managers to create their logins on the (DERC/DVR) portal to ensure timely and efficient redress of complaints received from the Special Branch.
