DC reviews Dengue situation, orders control measures

BATTAGRAM, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jun, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Battagram, Muhammad Shoaib here on Tuesday directed all concerned departments

to work in coordination to ensure effective preventive measures and timely control of any possible dengue outbreak.

Chairing a meeting on dengue prevention and control measures he asked for strengthening inter-departmental coordination, intensifying public awareness campaigns, and accelerating field operations.

He further stated that the district administration was utilizing all available resources for the protection of public health and would continue anti-dengue efforts with greater effectiveness.

During the briefing, Deputy District Health Officer (DDHO) Dr. Shehzad informed the participants about the current dengue situation in the district, surveillance mechanisms, preventive measures, and ongoing anti-dengue activities. He also highlighted potential risks, monitoring of affected areas, and steps being taken to prevent the spread of the disease.
