DC reviews healthcare facilities at Civil Hospital

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Apr, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Syed Hassan Raza visited Nawab Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi Hospital to ensure the provision of quality healthcare facilities including medicines to patients.

During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner inspected various departments of the hospital, reviewing the medical services provided in the emergency, outpatient (OPD), pharmacy, and different wards. He conducted a detailed observation of patient care, availability of medicines, cleanliness arrangements, and overall administration.

On this occasion, Medical Superintendent Dr. Muhammad Hamid Khan briefed the Deputy Commissioner on the hospital’s available medical facilities, stock of medicines, deployment of doctors and paramedical staff, and the standard of treatment being provided.

The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need to ensure uninterrupted supply of medicines and timely treatment for patients.

Deputy Commissioner Syed Hassan Raza also met with patients under treatment and their attendants, inquiring about the healthcare services being provided. He made it clear that any negligence in patient care will not be tolerated and strict action will be taken against those found responsible.
