DC reviews LDP schemes,dengue campaign and exam arrangements

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2026) Deputy Commissioner(DC) Lahore,Muhammad Ali Ijaz on Monday reviewed ongoing development schemes under the Lahore Development Programme (LDP),dengue prevention measures and arrangements for matriculation examinations during a field visit to Tehsil Saddar.

Accompanied by the Chief Officer Metropolitan Corporation Lahore (MCL) and Assistant Commissioner Saddar,the DC inspected development works,sanitation conditions and dengue field operations in various areas,including Ladhar and Bedian Road, where teams from WASA,LWMC and the dengue program were deployed.

He also visited a Matric examination centre on Bedian Road and reviewed arrangements,directing authorities to ensure transparency,discipline and facilitation for students during the ongoing exams.

At Mota Singh Wala,the DC inspected LDP development schemes and was briefed on ongoing and completed projects.

He instructed officials to ensure strict monitoring for timely completion,stressing that no compromise would be made on quality or deadlines.

He ordered a zero-tolerance policy towards lapses in cleanliness and dengue control efforts, adding that all development projects would be completed in line with the vision of the Chief Minister Punjab, with continuous field monitoring to ensure public facilitation.
