BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Mar, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Syed Hassan Raza paid a surprise visit to the matriculation examination centre
established at Government Sadiq Egerton Graduate College to review the arrangements.
During the visit, he inspected examination halls and carefully observed the facilities being provided to students,
along with security arrangements and measures taken to ensure transparency.
He expressed satisfaction over the overall arrangements but emphasized the need for maintaining the highest standards throughout the examination process.
The deputy commissioner directed the examination staff to ensure strict adherence to merit, transparency, and discipline. He reiterated that a zero-tolerance policy against cheating must be enforced at all costs. He further instructed that Section 144 be strictly implemented around examination centres, with a complete ban on the entry of unauthorized persons.
Deputy Director Colleges Muhammad Tasleem and CEO District education Authority Bahawalpur Tawakkal Hussain accompanied him during the visit.
