DC reviews proposals for annual development program 2026-27

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Mar, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry on Tuesday chaired a meeting of the District Development Committee to evaluate development proposals from various departments for the upcoming Annual Development Program (ADP) 2026-27.

During the meeting, detailed deliberations were held on the schemes submitted by the Highways, Local Government, and Irrigation departments.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers to prioritize projects that focus on public welfare and the enhancement of basic amenities in the region.

He emphasized that transparency and quality must be ensured in the planning of development projects to guarantee the optimal use of public funds and provide direct relief to the masses.

Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry further stated that the proposed schemes should align with the regional requirements of Sargodha to foster sustainable growth.

The meeting was attended by the Executive Engineer (XEN) Highways, Deputy Director Development, and other senior officials who briefed the chair on the status and objectives of their respective departmental proposals.
