DC reviews revenue performance, calls for improved collections in Chiniot

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Jun, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan on Tuesday chaired the monthly District Revenue Review Meeting to assess revenue collection performance, progress towards government targets and the efficiency of revenue-related departments across the district.

During the meeting, Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue (ADCR) Muhammad Ahmar Ali presented a detailed briefing on revenue targets, collection figures and ongoing efforts to enhance revenue generation. He informed the participants that revenue officers and field staff were actively working to achieve the goals set by the government.

Reviewing the performance of the departments, the deputy commissioner emphasized the need to further strengthen revenue collection mechanisms and ensure timely achievement of assigned targets.

She also directed officials to expedite the disposal of pending revenue cases and administrative matters.

Ayesha Rizwan also stressed that all concerned officers must perform their duties with dedication and professionalism to meet government objectives. She underscored the importance of maintaining transparency and merit in all revenue-related affairs. The meeting was attended by the Assistant Commissioner and other senior revenue officials.
