DC reviews sanitation drive in Pasrur, Sambrial

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Apr, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Sialkot Saba Asghar Ali on Tuesday visited Pasrur and Sambrial to review cleanliness measures under the Suthra Punjab Program launched by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

According to a DC office spokesperson, she inspected waste lifting and drain desilting in several areas of Pasrur and directed officials to ensure effective and regular sanitation operations.

She also warned shopkeepers against improper waste disposal, saying violations would lead to fines and legal action.

Assistant Commissioner Pasrur Sidra Sattar and Deputy Director Local Government Umar Amjad Baig accompanied her and briefed on progress.

Later, the DC inaugurated a renovation project at Tehsil Complex Sambrial in the presence of Assistant Commissioner Adnan Bashir Warraich, saying it would improve public service delivery.
