DC reviews sanitation drive in UC, Gudwala

BHAKKAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Apr, 2026) Deputy Commissioner (DC), Bhakkar, Ehsan Ali Jamali on Wednesday visited Union Council (UC), Gudwala to review ongoing cleanliness efforts under the “Suthra Punjab” programme.

During the visit, Jamali inspected the progress of a special sanitation campaign being carried out in Bhakkar tehsil.

Assistant Commissioner, Ghulam Mohiuddin Raza was present on the occasion.

The officials said the deputy commissioner examined measures taken as part of the ongoing clean-up operation and assessed their implementation on the ground.

The DC directed the relevant staff to ensure there was no negligence in maintaining cleanliness standards and stressed that sanitation systems at the union council level should be made more effective and sustained on a continuous, uninterrupted basis.
