RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Apr, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Murree Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi on Friday visited key tourist spots in Murree to review sanitation, traffic management and public facilities.
The visit started at Kashmir Point where the Deputy Commissioner inspected cleanliness arrangements and facilities for tourists, directing the officials to further improve service delivery and maintain hygiene standards.
He later visited GPO Chowk and Mall Road, reviewing traffic flow, parking issues and encroachments. He ordered immediate measures to streamline traffic management and remove illegal encroachments.
During a visit to Lower Mall, he assessed cleanliness and beautification work, directing authorities to enhance the area’s appearance and ensure a pleasant environment for visitors.
Officials of relevant departments, including the municipal and water authorities, accompanied the deputy commissioner. He instructed them to ensure better facilities for tourists and residents and to strengthen administrative response for timely resolution of issues.
MD WASA and Assistant Commissioner also accompanied the Deputy Commissioner.
