DC’s youth empowerment committee meeting to review matters ralated youth welfare

ATTOCK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Apr, 2026) An important meeting of the Deputy Commissioner’s Youth Empowerment Committee was held under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner General Attock, Anil Saeed to review in detail matters related to youth welfare, empowerment, and developmental initiatives.

Officers from various departments, relevant stakeholders, and representatives associated with youth programs attended the meeting.

During the session, a comprehensive briefing was given on ongoing projects for young people, skill development programs, employment opportunities, and educational and training activities.

Anil stated that youth are a valuable asset to any society, and that their positive guidance and the effective utilization of their abilities are among the government’s top priorities.

He directed that a coordinated strategy be adopted to equip young people with skills, provide employment opportunities, and enable them to become economically self-reliant.

He further emphasized that all relevant institutions should work collaboratively to effectively advance youth empowerment initiatives, ensuring that the younger generation is provided with equal opportunities for growth and development. In this regard, he also directed that performance be further improved and that proper monitoring of ongoing programs be ensured.

The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of the district administration to continue taking all possible measures for the welfare of youth and to help them realize and showcase their full potential.
